For the safety of our members, visitors and community, CBYC is taking every possible step to help prevent the spread of COVID-19. This includes following all municipal and provincial guidelines and regulations. Cathedral Bluffs Yacht Club’s committee of management and members are excited to be able to offer visiting privileges to members of reciprocal clubs. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, we have made some changes to the procedures and requirements for visiting CBYC. As this is an ever changing situation, the most up to date information can be found on our website here under visitors’ information. We recommend members of reciprocal clubs check the information there prior to visiting.
CBYC has a range of on-site facilities, including washrooms/showers, barbecues, picnic tables, ice (at a nominal fee), water, shore power (15 amp on the restaurant wall and 30 amp on all others slips), and our pump out is located by ”A” dock (please ask a club member for assistance). Marine fuel and service facilities are available nearby. Our club restaurant is open with restriction.
Due to current restrictions not all facilities are available at this time. Our covid safety committee is maintaining an up-to-date status document outlining what is available and what current restrictions are in place. This document is available to view on a clickable link of our home page. It is also posted on site at both entrances to the clubhouse.
All visitors will be required to check-in and screen using our online Visitors Check-in & Covid Screening form.
Docking assistance is available by our dedicated crew everyday 8:00am to 9:00 pm using channel 68. There are always members available to help. We ask visitors to please fly their club burgee and show their current club membership card, and to fill out the online Visitors Check-in & Covid Screening form.
Dock space is free for the first three days to members of reciprocating clubs. In emergencies stays can be extended. We are located on the north shore of Lake Ontario, directly below the magnificent Scarborough Bluffs. (Harbour entrance at position 43° 42.366’N; 79° 13.585’W.)
We trust that you and your members will enjoy your summer boating activities and will consider making our club a stopping point in your travels.
